As part of the Company’s actions towards Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 4, Quality Education, Apexindo provided educational grants to the best students at five elementary schools located near the Company’s operational area. These five schools are SDN 001 Pendalian IV Koto and SDN 004 Pendalian IV Koto in Riau Province; SDN Baketor in Bojonegara, Banten; and SDN 001 Muara Badak and SDN 016 Muara Jawa in East Kalimantan.
The appreciation is given to three of sixth-grade students from each school with the highest average grades in their school, based on their accumulated academic scores throughout grades 4, 5, and 6. The award is worth 5 million rupiah for first place, 3 million rupiah for second place, and 2 million rupiah for third place.
