diluted in Japan and highlight the work of blending for the future productions of the Sakurao distillery

Deeper oak spices and caramelised pear develop and warm the nose

highlighted by notes of sweet barley

then dark chocolate with a long complex structure of oak tanin

It is owned and operated by Diageo and primarily used for blended whisky in the Diageo portfolio. Released as a single malt as part of Diageos Rare Malts to increase the visibility of the distillery. The distillery boasts six large stills which distill unpeated malt and produce a whisky that is primarily for the US markets.
