I kept this in mind for ages thinking it would make a good lithograph

There is a much sadder history here too as many of the inhabitants were evicted by the landlord in the 1840's and were forced to leave their homes

Your nearest neighbours may be a field or two away but they have lived there for generations and will always be available to lend a hand. I made this lithograph entirely myself from beginning to end, from the initial idea, through painting and processing the image on the litho stone, proofing and printing the edition.
