Mitra sukkerske fra Georg Jensen Moderne designLength 10 cm. Mitra was designed by Gundorph Albertus, Georg Jensen's brother in law, in 1941. Silver was in short supply during World War II, so the cutlery was made of steel, as Georg Jensen's first item. There have been close to 100 different parts in the production of this cutlery. The handle of the cutlery is shaped like a Catholic bishop's hat, a miter, hence the name.
It has new wires and old broken prisms have been replaced with original antique parts
The box is faceted in fine crystal glass and the lid is decorated with small roses
The carafe has some coating on the bottom
