There were no shorts or gas. It measured 42 49 where minimum (65%) is 50 50 and 100% is 77 77 It has steel support rods; black T plates and a bottom, side D getter. I have played it in one of my Radio Craftsman RC 2 monoblocks and it sounds outstanding. It is dead quiet when the preamp is muted and has excellent frequency
