Initially building a rep via his close association with fellow New Yorker and rapper Aesop Rock and releasing via El Ps cult underground hip hop label Definitive Jux, it was perhaps inevitable that Blockhead would explore solo instrumental production. The beats on Music by Cavelight explore moodier tones and textures with lush
