2012 should be a terrific vintage for this storied wine though note that plenty of patience will be required as I doubt that this will drink especially well young

There is outstanding volume and intensity to the imposingly-scaled flavors that possess first-rate midpalate concentration along with an abundance of dry extract that imparts a velvety texture to the firmly structured and beautifully persistent finish

This is also quite restrained but a bit less structured

it will easily age for another 25-30 years in the cellar and drink well through 2050
