Fitting a catch tank kit enables you to vent all excess vapours directly into a separate tank where the oil is then separated from the damp air before being returned directly back into the sump oil pan

Do not apply filter oil to this filter as it was not designed to utilize such oils

These flaps only open one way

In the case of the boxer engine with its intercooler mounted under a bonnet scoop the ambient airflow speed is already struggling after doing a 90 degree turn through the scoop
