Podere Grattamacco - Bolgheri Superiore Rosso DOC 2014 ES-1 and balsamic notesGrattamacco, the second oldest Bolgheri estate, was established in 1977. It is situated in the hilly area bearing the same name, where the term "Grattamacco" originates from the mining of a mineral known as "macco" by the Etruscans on these very hills. The wine exhibits a deep ruby red hue and greets the nose with intense fruity aromas, intertwined with balsamic hints and Mediterranean floral notes. Subtle smoky nuances from well integrated wood
