It's an all valve design using ECC82 and ECC83 valves and was introduced as we were struggling to find a phono stage that offered the performance we wanted along with a beefy output stage to drive everything including the Music First Audio TVC pre amplifiers, which we were selling a lot of at time. We specified it to include aluminium casework, passive eq, low impedance
