Our skillet mitts are crafted with four layers of cotton batting for some serious heat resistance. You can leave it on the handle while cooking on low but please be cautious of a large open flame. They are made of cotton and can burn if they come in contact with fire. Inside Dimensions are 4 1 2" Long x 1 1 2 Wide. Made to fit on small, medium and large cast iron skillets. Sold individually.
